Gary D. Riner, AIA
Gary Riner, Vice President of FRS Design Group, Inc., has had management and design responsibilities for projects ranging in size up to $30,000,000 during his thirty-eight years of professional experience. He provides corporate guidance in the areas of design and technical quality, and is director of all computer aided design and drafting production. He has served as project manager and designer on several major facilities including the Arlington Municipal Building, Fort Worth General Mail Facility, Fort Worth Police Administration Facility/Tarrant County Jail, and Municipal Facilities for the City of The Colony. His additional experience includes commercial and retail development projects, residential care facilities, and facilities for the Corps of Engineers and United States Postal Services. One of his significant accomplishments was directing all professional efforts in developing the highly successful $33,000,000 Tarrant County Criminal Courts Facility. This project was one of the only ten in the United States to receive the 1988 Citation for Excellence in Justice Architecture. Gary is a graduate of Texas A&M University, receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1966, and has completed Department of Defense courses in Principles and Applications of Value Engineering. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Texas Society of Architects and is a registered architect in Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia, and the NCARB.
