In 1982, John Firestone, Gary Riner and Ken Smith left their positions as senior associates in one of Fort Worth's largest architectural firms to start their own, FRS Design Group, Inc.  With a history of working together for more than 12 years and a commitment to performance excellence in providing comprehensive and responsive architectural, planning and interior design services, these 3 founding principals began what has now become 22 years of continuous successful practice.

Each of the 3 principals has had experience in different areas of the design profession.  This versatility initially expanded the new firm's capabilities and enabled it to complete work for a broad range of clients and various types of facilities without being limited by a project's size, nature, complexity or location.  Enhancing these original capabilities is the staff we have assembled consisting of professional and technical personnel who are highly skilled and enthusiastic in their motivation to help our clients achieve their project goals.  We stress this fact because in what has been considered historically to be a transient profession, 3 of these individuals have spent a collective 43 years with our firm.

The cornerstone of our growth and longevity continues to be the balanced application extensive experience, design talent, technical expertise, professional integrity and contagious enthusiasm for each project we undertake.  To those of you who are responsible for evaluating and selecting firms to provide architectural, interior design and related services, we believe you will be extremely pleased with the way you and your projects are treated by FRS.
